PRESS RELEASE
BLACK LANTERN STUDIOS HELPS MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION

FEB 24 , 2005

Black Lantern Studios, Inc., an independent interactive entertainment studio, teamed up with the Missouri Make-a-Wish Foundation to grant a child their wish of being a game designer for a day. Black Lantern fulfilled the role of mentor to James by showing him what it takes to take a game from concept to completion.

“It is important to Black Lantern Studios to give back to the community,” said Richard Woods, Managing Director for Black Lantern Studios. “Fostering the curiosity of James and others like him is important to the industry, for they are the future of game development.”

“The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Missouri relies heavily on the support of local donors and volunteers,” stated Monika Matthews, Wish Granter. “The extreme generosity of staff at Black Lantern Studios gave James a chance to live out his dream of being a game designer. Thanks to Black Lantern, James is enjoying life and hoping for the future.”
